But I digress. This updated page is a little different to the old versions where the pictures below dont link to larger images any more. So, if you want to use them for yourself, and you would like the larger version, just email me and I`ll send them to you. Free of charge.

All the pictures on this page were taken during the 1995 Cannonball Run at Santa Pod, in Bedfordshire in England. Yes, I know it was a long time ago, but I dont get to visit Santa Pod as often as I would like, and the last two Cannonball Runs I have missed due to bad weather and I didnt want to risk going to a rained out meeting. If the weather is kind to me this year, then I hope to have some new pictures soon for everyone.

Here are two of my favourite photos from the 1995 Cannonball Run. They are of the T23 dragster, driven at the time by Clive Mechell. The engine photo was used for a while on both my Amiga and PC computer backdrop screens, and says everything about the sheer brute power available from these beasts.

Here is Micke Kagered`s Quakerstate dragster.

Heres the A1 dragster Barry Sheavills was driving in the 1995 season.

And lastly, for now at least, heres the Budweiser dragster,
driven by the famous Harlan Thompson.
