Picture of some Bad Arsed Bikers!

This is where you can find out more details about some other biking stuff, like people Ive met, (and thier web pages if they have any), and some other motorcycling stuff like dealer sites etc.

This page though is very new and I havent really managed to get everything sorted like I had hoped >:*(
Please bear with me and I`ll try to rectify this as soon as I can >:*)

Thanks for dropping by though!

Or go back to my main motorcycling page.

new paragraph Here`s some info about other bikers... new paragraph

new paragraph And heres some stuff about other motorcycling stuff... new paragraph
new paragraph Thanks should also go to my local motorcycle dealership - Mount Motorcycles of Port Talbot - without whose help and advice would probably have turned me into a (spit spit) car driver many years ago!

new paragraph Another local supplier of motorcycle stuff is M&P Accessories who started here in Swansea back around 1980. Theyre now pretty big and even offer a world wide mail order service should you need new parts.

new paragraph If youre looking to get trained in the Swansea area, then check out the West Glamorgan Motorcycle Training Scheme's pages. They started back about 1980 too but were originally sponsored by the RAC/ACU, later taken over by West Glamorgan County Council.
Due to the motoring laws in the UK, you have to attend a formal training scheme to obtain your CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate before being allowed out on the roads which is when your training really starts.
Luckily I did my test so long ago that I didnt have to do my own CBT and have mixed views on it being required. In theory its a good idea, but if its so good, why dont car learner drivers have to do that same sort of training?
I know a few of the current instructors (all volunteers) on the scheme and theyre pretty good too. Hell, they must be good - I passed my test!!!
BTW, tell them Chez sent you >:*)

new paragraph Heres a request from "Bob" to post a link for a bike festival that was held in Cornwall during the great eclipse of the Sun in the Summer of 1999. Not too sure if the link is still active, but here it is anyway...
Check out http://quicklink.to/eclipse and tell them Chez sent you >:*)

new paragraph No motorcycling pages would be complete without reference to at least one motorcycle stunt rider, and here is my own little tribute to Gary Rothwell!
Each of the links that follow are short AVI video clips of some footage that I took when I saw him at a bike show at Llandow (South Wales) back in 1995 and he was brilliant - you should have seen me riding home from that event - I was totally inspired. But then again, perhaps it was better not to watch me... especially if you were in police uniform at the time!!!

Lesson 1 535kb - Burnouts with a difference...
Lesson 2 415kb - Wheelies with a difference...
Lesson 3 420kb - Stoppie number 1...
Lesson 4 503kb - Stoppie number 2...
Lesson 5 400kb - Surfing...
Lesson 6 737kb - Doughnuts...

new paragraph Have fun... but dont tell the police I showed you how they should be done >:*)

new paragraph By the way, before any of you get all legal with me, all of the video files were taken from my very own "coverage" of the event, which means that I hold the copyright anyway! Oh, and all the stunts were performed on private property too.

new paragraph And heres some details on UK Motorcyle breaker yards... new paragraph
new paragraph Ive had a few requests during the years from visitors to this web site asking if I can help them in tracking down replacement parts for thier motorcycles and have decided to include the links listed below. The links are various contact details for several, but not all, motorcycle breaker yards (scrappy's) that can be found here in the UK.

new paragraph Some only have telephone or Fax numbers, but where possible I have included addresses for thier own web pages and thier email address if known.

new paragraph These companies are listed in alphabetical order and is not meant to imply that one company is better than any other company. The details were chosen at randon from a February 2000 issue of Motor Cycle News. which means some of the details may now be out of date and for which I apologise for in advance.

new paragraph Dont forget that the numbers listed are in the UK format, but if you wish to call them from outside the UK, please remove the first "0" and replace with "44" instead, ie "01234" becomes "44 1234" instead.

new paragraph And lastly...
PLEASE NOTE... Altho I have used some of these services in the past without any problems, I will not be held responsible for any dealings you may have with these companies should anything go wrong.
Basically if youre not happy, then do not part with your money!
