new paragraphMy Psion palmtop computers...new paragraph
Picture of a Psion Palmtop Computernew paragraphI now have three Psion palmtops, which I use mainly for emailing although they are equally suited to helping me write my own web pages. This is just one of those pages!

new paragraphThe models I own are the 3a (256kb), 3c (2Mb), and the newest of the three, a 3mx (also 2Mb) which I bought in November, 1998.
new paragraphIve owned the 3a for around 4-5 years now and to be honest Im not too sure how I managed without it before! Ok, so I dont use all of its programs but the alarm and especially the word processor functions have been worth thier weight in gold >:*)

new paragraphThe Psion's used to be known as palmtop computers (because of thier size), but trends change and they are now known as Personal Assistants or PA's for short.

new paragraphEither way they are still great to own and provide many inbuilt programs that are helpful in everyday use.

new paragraphSoftware included on each Psion palmtop...

new paragraphOther software available...new paragraph
new paragraphOther companies also produce software for the Psion 3 series of computers and luckily all the existing programs Ive bought so far are compatible across each model.
Some of the software I`ve bought includes:-new paragraphThis is just the software I currently own although each of the manufacturers listed above have a lot more titles available including many serious and scientific programs too.

new paragraphAnother program not yet mentioned is the commercially available PSIWin which is the program I use when connecting the Psion across to the PC. Sadly Psion have never released a program to connect to an Amiga but luckily there is a shareware program available called AmigaNCP. Alternatively, I used to use the built in Comms application and transfer data to my Amiga that way instead.
